1/06 - Haiti Outreach Mission Presentation
        by Bill McNeese & Roger Matthews
    - The Haiti Outreach Committee has set an
      ambitious goal of $10,000 to take on its annual
      mission trip.  There's a big dinner next month.
      How can we help? Our friends at HOM tell us
      how.
1/13 - Coffee Hour
1/20 - Great Parenting - We begin the new year
      helping parents and grandparents do the best
      job they can parenting.  We will hear from an
      expert in child psychology on how we can
      improve our parenting.
1/27 - Annual Meeting (in Sanctuary) - Lend your voice
      and vote as we hear and discern what God has in
      store for us in 2008.
February 2008
2/03 - Countdown to Lent - Lent invites us to deepen
      our spiritual lives.  Fr. Chris and our Parish
      Musician, Chris Urbiel, will introduce us to the
      themes and music of this annual season.
2/10 - Intergenerational Valentines - Our annual
      festival of love for one another as expressed in
      valentines!  Come be part of the fun! All are
      welcome!
2/17 - Coffee Hour
2/24 - Habitat for Humanity Presentation
      A volunteer from Habitat for Humanity talks about the
      organization and prepares us for our April 5th workday.
March 2008
3/02 - Welcoming the Newcomer - We hear from Rev John
      Meulendyk about hospitality ministry, evangelism,
      and how we can help God grow our parish.
3/09 - Holy Week: The Preview - The Prayer Book tells
      us that Holy Week is the most important week of
      the year.  Come learn more about the liturgies,
      the customs, and the music.
3/16 - Palm Sunday, no forum
3/23 - Easter Sunday, no forum
3/30 - The Hymns of Easter - Fr. Chris & Chris Urbiel
      take us through the music and theology of Easter
      liturgy and hymnody.
April 2008
4/06 - Millennium Development Goals - What are the
      MDG's and why has the Episcopal Church made
      them the focus of its mission for the last few
      years?
4/13 - Open House Sunday - This is our "bring a friend
      to St. David's" Sunday.
4/20 - Cultural Sunday & Potluck - Everyone in the
       parish is encouraged to dress in the tradition of
      their ethnic heritage. Food from different places
      will be served at the potluck.
4/27 - Coffee Hour
May 2008
5/04 - God Is Green, Part I - In May, we will be
      concentrating on our stewardship of Creation,
      safeguarding the world we've been given.
      Today, we will hear about an important aspect of
      the environment.
5/11 - Mother's Day, no forum
5/18 - Creation Sunday, help add plants and flowers to our
      landscaping
5/25 - Memorial Day Weekend, no forum
June 2008
6/01 - Soup Kitchen Sunday - Join us directly after the
      9:30am worship service as we head to
      Crossroads Soup Kitchen and serve some new
      friends.
6/08 - Parish Picnic - Join us for our annual celebration
      of parish life at St. David's
6/15 - Gideon International - Presentation by Mike White &
      Bob Kay
6/22 - Deacon Al Sunday - help us celebrate Deacon Al's
      ministry
6/27 - Visioning Sunday - St. David's ministry - Past, Present,
      & Future
